The Mount Rogers Community Services Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Ms. Sandy Bryant has been hired as the new Executive Director, effective February 1, 2018.
Sandy Bryant
As a graduate of the University of Virginia, Sandy brings over 35 years of experience in the behavioral health field. Sandy currently holds her license as a Registered Nurse as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist. Additionally, she holds a certification as an ANA Advance Practice Psychiatric Nurse as well as a Sex Offender Treatment Provider.

Sandy has worked in the Community Services Board system in Virginia for the past 29 years. With progressive supervisory roles at Horizon Behavioral Health in Lynchburg, she most recently held the position of Chief Clinical Officer. In this position, she provided oversight of all clinical services, which encompassed the supervision of over 600 clinical staff. The clinical services programming included mental health, developmental and substance use disorder services for individuals ranging from the infant to geriatric populations. She has led and participated on many statewide committees sponsored by the Virginia Association of Community Services Boards and the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, as well as a range of other local community partners.
