Mount
Rogers Community Mental Health and Mental Retardation Services Board
is one of forty (40) Community Services Boards in Virginia. Our
facilities offer a comprehensive array of mental health, substance
abuse, and mental retardation services. We are a regional service
jurisdiction, serving the citizens of Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth,
and Wythe Counties and the City of Galax.
Mount
Rogers Community Services Board is dedicated to improving the quality
of life for people with mental, physical, and substance abuse intervention
needs and committed to respecting peoples right to live in their
home communities and to supporting opportunities for education,
work, and social activities.
Services
will be provided for people to resume or continue participation
in community life in as independent a manner as possible.
The
Administrative Office of Mount Rogers Community Services Board is
located in Wytheville, VA. The office provides central support for
the Board's two operating divisions:
· Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services
· Industrial and Developmental Centers
Activities
of the Administrative Office include budget and finance, personnel
and employee benefits management, long range planning, and protection
of client rights.
